Default Need launch help= M6 TA

I went to the track this weekend and made 3 runs. All 3 runs i ended up getting a 2.2 60Ft. I tried to have some of my friends help me launch but they don't have ls1s so they couldn't exactly get it right either. This was my first time to the track with my new DFX setup.
First run- 2.0grand semi dump
Second run-3.0 slip
Third run 2.5 (fucked up and dumped completly)
But like i said all 3 got me a 2.2 60ft.

Mods include:
Pacesetter LT
OR Y pipe
Borla catback
MTI air lid
B&M short throw
TB Bypass
Centerforce DFX and stock flywheel
my tires are Toyo Proxes4 and i had them at 20psi cuz i spun pretty bad my runs a couple weeks ago.

Just wondering if you guys could give me a couple hints to help me get that 60ft down. If it matters all 3 runs were 13.5@106.

stock 10 bolt I assume? best way to get the 60' down is TIRES. I heat up my nittos for a few in the box and roll out of the burn out. I launch at about 1800rpm. my best 60ft is 1.89 10 bolt with 4.10 gear

Wow your 10 bolt is holding a 1.9 with 4.10s with those tires? I'm saving for a 12 bolt and tires this winter i'm just nervous about putting stickier tires on with the 10 bolt.

Running on non DR tires in a M6 is pointless. Might as well leave bogging a lil bit. Dont expect to get better. Also you have aired down the tires too much where now you wont MPH.

Take a chance on some nittos, but then you are still going to have the bog/spin, i.e. on/off switch.

I am swapping to a bias ply 26" slick, you need the side wall. Be now this is a 10 bolt, its a walking granade.

What some people do is just make more power and leave soft, thats prob the only way to be easy on the 10 bolt and still cut a good time, but still a better 60ft 95% of the time leads to an even better ET.

yea the rearend is going anyway so get some dr's and drop @ 4. Otherwise leave the psi @ 20..no more than 25 and dump at 22-2500. Trick is to let out as soon as you dump and get the rpm's up...then get right back in it. With a lil practice you may gain a few tenths at best. I'm 2 tenths off of my drag radial time with this method in the 1/8th.
