DR newbie...have dumb question Well, I did a search and didn't come up with the answer to my simple question, so I'll ask you guys for a little help.
I got my pair of M/T ET Streets today and mounted them on my 16x8 camaro wheels. I was wondering what a good tire pressure starting point would be when I go to the track. They are 255/50R16's and my car is a 6 speed (see sig.). This is my first time running drag radials, so any input would be appreciated.

There are mutiple threads on this topic, do a search and you'll find results. Opinions will vary based on power, track conditions, suspensions, etc. I've gotten 1.5X 60 foots on 17-18 psi, I believe Gators99TA has gone 1.39 on 22 psi.

I use the same tire and use 18psi and can cut 1.6's with no hint of wheelspin, could go quicker but I am on the stock rear still. Also it is an auto V6 car, so it won't shock the tires nearly as hard as yours so you may need to go a little lower.
