Default Any rear bumper cover sag????

I removed the front bumper support since an intercooler is going there, but I was wondering if anyone who removed the rear bumper support noticed any sagging??
I have heard that the front bumper support sags some after the removal, didn't know if that was true for the rear??

any insight would be appreciated.

To bring this back from the dead...Anybody else want to ad to this? How do you remove the rear bumper support? If the bumper cover does sag, what did you do to fix it?

We make ultra light rear bumper supports just like the front... if you have the need for a parachute then we incorporate the suppport with it in one assy.

pics of our bumper supports here:http://www.midwestchassis.com/bumper-supports.html

Yes, we've talked before about your supports, Eric. I'll be getting ahold of you for one. I just need to know how to remove the factory support

the rear bumper cover has a combination of screws, nuts, and push clips that hold it to the car. once you have it off the bumper assy will unbolt from the back of the body. You will need to remove the tail lights and there will be a few push clips there and the wire harness dicsonnect, a couple screws and a nut in the wheel opening, and a few nuts on each side of the quarter from the inside. there are also a few push clips on the bottom as well.

There are some 10mm nuts on the inside of the car, I think 4 or maybe 6 but then there are some push clips on the bottom side of the bumper and then a screw just behind the tire on the bottom of the bumper in the wheel well.

I believe thats it, it should pop right off then.

The support/crash bar has push clips in it? The best I can tell, its got 4 bolts, on both sides. Is that right?

The bumper cover has push pins that go through it and into the crash support. Dont forget the screws in the wheel well
