I've used the BMR k-member for 3 years on the street (about 8K miles) and strip without a problem. Definitely makes working on the car easier.

yup, BMR with LS1 stands here. stock was 57, bmr was 26. makes working on the car a lot easier, once you notice you can reach your arm thu places you couldnt beofore. lol I'm stil finding more places you have a lot more room.

Not unless you want to put a motor plate in it won't. You have to run a motor plate with the burkhart k member, it's not designed with motor mounts in it.

It's not a real street piece, for a race car it's perfect, but for a street car, I would want something a little more beefy.

IMO, if you're gonna get a K member BS machine, get the turbo one from BMR. Ya never know what ya may end up doing with the car, better to have that version then not IMO.... just in case

I have had a PA one for 5-6 years. Put probably 50k street miles on it.

PA can build it however you want it, and add whatever you want to it. Just call them, they probably have more custom options than anyone out there.

Our K Member is more of race part. It would do fine on the street but Motor Plates are not very street friendly. You do have full access to the oil pan with ours. No more dropping the k member to get the pan out.

If it's a race car give us a call. If a street car you would be better off with BMR.

How much do the UMI kmembers weight?

Also, can an aftermarket Kmember be used with stock arms?

Our K-member with motor mounts is 25lbs less then the factory K-member and 33lbs less with our A-Arms added. You can also use the factory A-arms with no issues as well.

I will admit our k-member is not the lightest on the market, but while others advertise there's for race only we advertise ours for every day use as well as race applications.

If you have anymore questions please ask. Thank you!
