4th gear nitrous
4th gear nitrous Curious if anyone would have opinions on how much of a shot of nitrous I would have to spray in 4th gear, to hit 9.99 if I was running 10.50 on motor.
Keep in mind, I wouldnt be spraying off the line, or in any other gear, cause of my converter size.
Curious if its possible with a reasonable amount, otherwise I may just scrap the nitrous since I have never used it more than twice since Ive owned it.

The longer you wait, the less gain you get. 1/2 a second is not that hard to come by with a full shot.
Don't know about waiting that long what you can still get. Good luck.

The same shot that would yield a 9.99 if sprayed all the way wont gain much ET at all if only sprayed in 4th, just some MPH. You must have some low gears to have to use overdrive!
Put an RPM window switch on that shuts the NOS off 100 RPM before it shifts and let 'er rip!
