Default ETP C5R or ALL PRO LSW

427" LSX Block, Solid Roller, 2 Kits, Carb'd..

What heads would you run? All Pro can have the heads in a month. ET says 8 weeks and we all know how long it takes to get a set of heads from them. Pricing looks to be about the same as well as flow numbers. We are trying to stay away from titanium valves due to the cost. We want to run the big solid roller springs and the All Pro's come ready for that.

All of your opinions are appreciated!

Thanks,
Matt

The Allpro head is an excellent head-i would go that route at this time-however i would run the titanium intake valve-a valve that large made from stainless would be very heavy and hard to control a higher rpms-a couple extra dollars now will save you a bunch later. Not sure who is building your engine but the LSX block leaves alot to be desired in high hp applications-i have witnessed this first hand-using off the shelf parts and just bolting it together will be a disaster.I have a fix for this problem-but be assured it is not cheap-alot of custom pieces in the bottom end to make it survive.Feel free to pm me if you have any questions
