fuel pump wire kit
fuel pump wire kit What is the deal with the fuel pump wire kit? Do they do something that hooking a 12 gauge wire to the battery and crimping into the existing hot wire at the tank won't do (putting a switch in the middle of course)? Maybe I'm missing something here, but I just saw one for sale for 75 bucks.
Most of them come with a 10 gauge wire, relay, some other wire, and some connectors. If you know what you're doing, it's no problem to make one up yourself. You can use the existing power wire to the pump as the trigger wire for the new relay. 
Thanks a bunch I thought it was pretty simple. I can't believe a company like Casper's would rape somebody like that. Should be ashamed of themselves!! Thanks for making sure I wasn't forgetting something.
