Benefits of a 6pt cage??

Other than safety, Will a cage get me to hook any better??

I wouldn't consider a 6 point being a cage, roll bar "yes", you will at least need an 8 point, the extra 2 small bars you want to tie them into the SFCs for best results, the rear bars (trunk) should be just above the frame rails, this will make the car alot more rigid & help the suspention do its job, so "YES", it will help traction.
