Default Front suspension question. pics

Went to the track Saturday and my wife got some good photo's of the car in action. Here's a sequence of pics for one of my runs, my question is at what time should the front end settle down so I'm not having so much air under the car slowing me down. I'm running QA-1 R series up front w/QA-1 springs rated at 315lbs. Setting was on #1 so front end would come up quick.. What's your thoughs based on these pics? Or is this normal? Looks like it settled down just past the 1/8th mile.

If you make the front end come down you will lose hook. That looks like you have a good pass going there.

Thanks! Yep, have never had a problem with straight launches. Just have to keep playing with the shocks and tire pressures to get the 60 foot down on the nitrous launches..

what size shot are you running? I have a little over a 150 shot in mine at the moment with 243 heads and cam that got my best 60' down to a 1.45 with stock shocks and springs.

I launch just above idle and the nitrous comes on at 3000 rpms, so probably only a few feet before it kicks in.

Since your still on your 10 bolt I'd say keep it how you have it. I spray out of the hole with the transbrake getting the stall up to about 3000 which really helps my 60' I think, but I'm running a 12 bolt rear.

Do you have coil overs in the rear? Have you played with the springs and controls? How much are your tires spinning off the line?
what adjustments do you have?

Looks more like a few car lenghts not feet before the nitrous kicks in. Mine does the same thing, only it's set to come on at 4k. Not knocking your car, just making an observation. Wish mine had that kind of weight transfer.

No, just QA1's in the rear. Other than my last run I didn't spin any off the line... Long story why my 60' was slower on the nitrous run... Not sure why I spun so hard on the 3rd run, alot of car with street tires had run by then, may of been some water on the start line.. I was running my shocks(rear) at 8-9 on the pass side, 5-6 on the Drivers side, tire pressure 20 psi. Front shocks were set at 1.

That's true and no offense taken, looking for input.. Just wondering, why 4k for the nitrous to come on? I'm a nitrous newbie, trying to learn what I can.
