i will have more track time...especially with spray as soon as i get a BETTER clutch, right now i have a CRAP *** centerforce dual friction and it is not working at all for me..... it is like pulling teeth trying to shift at anything above 3K RPM...... once i figure out what clutch to get i will have track times.....

i would not go any bigger in a cam....i am not impressed with the power under 4grand....any bigger of a cam and you will need to pull to 12K rpm just to get a good powerband.... also when i say built, its a 10bolt but with upgraded axles and built eaton posi....nothing special!!!!

thanks, 2 fast motorsports thats what i was thinking but i have a dana 60 with 456 gears and a locker with 30x10 hoosiers on it i know its going to eat up a lot of my horsepower i guess the other alternative is get a built motor that way i could spin it without problem. maybe the reason there isn't a bunch of power dwn low is the type of cam they told me it was a race only cam as long as it flys dwn the quarter i'm cool

Congrats on your #s AND track times!!!!! I wonder how much the 100mm FAST combo really helped over an off the shelf 92mm setup??

i REALLY feel like the biggest benefit from the 100mm combo is HUGE throttle response!!! this combo would probably gain a ton in a bigger cube motor!!! thanx for everything Ron, hope to do more business with you again!

I have one of Rons 92mm FAST intakes opened up to 95 mm and a RevXtreme 95mm tb that is going on a 402 here in the next 2 weeks. I'll let you know how she does. Per Ron and my conversation back in March before my project got side tracked due to lack of funds we both anticipate the larger tb/intake opening being a big help to get air into the motor. Now I need to find a bigger MAF then the 85mm zo6 one so that the entire line is 95 mm's.

Glad to hear you feel you have improved throttle response. My motor will be around 11.3 - 11.5 to 1 compression so I am eagerly anticipating the results.

The car put down 724.8rwhp and 696.6rwtq on a 200 shot direct port.
The car also put down 501rwhp and 427rwtq on the NITROUS TUNE!!!

The car was originally tuned by Charlie at RPM...he did a good job, but the car started to not run so well. Instead of driving that far back to him to fix it....i was able to get Danny from OC GM Performance (formally Orange County Corvette) to re-tune it....he made it PERFECT!!! he took HOURS dialing in the car to get the idle just right and tons of patience making the whole powerband just PERFECT!!! I never do this, but i would HIGHLY recommend people talk with Danny **EDIT**Non sponsor contact removed** and go down to his shop... they have some AMAZING things going on and have WAY more great things to come.....especially when i finish my vette and have Danny tune it!!!

Why not just tune SD? Get the IAT pig tail from a 98 c5 and wire it, and get rid of the MAF all together?
