Yeah, I would take the LS6 intake over the FAST at the level he's at any time. Once you get into serious heads/cam or stroker motors then it's probably worth it, but until then the LS6 is just a great deal for the 98-00 cars.

I would love to see that race, except not from a dig because thats just not fair. How come you don't bring your GTO or TBSS up here?

Mikey I have only driven it back home from the shop, i don't like to drive it much because I don't want to **** my neighbors off everytime i start it up haha. As for driveability it isn't bad on the way home, it does buck a little around 1300 rpm if you let off the gas but nothing major.

As for the Fast vs LS6. I plan on getting Trickflow heads to go with this cam so I figure that is some major power so I will be getting the Fast 92 to utilize every hp possible. I am broke and too lazy to buy an LS6 and then go sell it when I want to replace it, plus the results are more impressive on a LS1 intake and TB.

And yes Stealth stop being a panzy and bring the LT1 up here, stupid people scared to bring their beasts out. I'm always down for some highway fun haha. You going to the meet this week?? You can hear it then as long as it doesn't rain, this thing is too loud for the parking deck haha.

Yeah I think it would be a really good race. With Ryan's car having the better top end and being 6-speed I would think he would have the edge from a roll but with my 150lb. self and the fact I pulled some weight from the car it should be pretty good. If I lose that tho then were going from a dig . Technically neither the GTO or TBSS are mine they belong to my parents eventhough I drive the Goat more than my dad and am getting the SS tuned so I can suprise some stock LT1's and Mustangs on the street

Since I need to pay $250 a semester for parking plus my roomates got cars there really is no point. If I had my old Formula I'd have it up here but Im real **** about this one since its the mintest F-body I've ever seen. I'll try and bring it up this spring once maybe for that autox/drag racing weekend so I cant attempt to autox it and go crusing with you guys and of course run ya lol. I wont be there this week because I got 5 tests between now and next wednesday but count me in for being there next week. Haha yea your car is loud as hell I cant imagine what it sounds like in the parking garage lolol.

Damn your apartment complex doesn't have free parking for people who live there?? That sucks dude. Yeah my fata** don't help the situation, i needa go on a diet and take some weight of my fat car but oh well. You definitly have to let me know when you bring it up here and we can go on some cruises or something.

Yeah 00T\A the drivability is good from what I felt but I only drove it once and mine is cam only no other power mods like you (grrrr give me your intake/tb/heads) haha. There was a little bucking at like 1300 when i was on highway and let foot off of gas but other then that nothing. I did find myself driving around at like 3k instead of coasting at like 1600 but that's probably because i'm not used to it yet haha.

those are some sick numbers man!!! In all reality i would go with an ls6 rather than a fast... The fast doesn't really take action till it is matched up with some fatty heads.

I will be doing a Fast 92/92 and Trickflow Heads at the same time and both will more then likely be taken to Rapid and will get port matched by Mikey since he did absolutely amazing work!!

Once you swap them 3.42's out for that S60 and 4.11's the drivability will only get better.

Yeah its pretty lame they make you pay out the a for parking here.

yeah that's what I had figured about the driveability, too bad i soo can't afford it right now. Grrr stupid college takes all my damn money. That sucks all the places around here i've seen have a free parking system if you are on the lease.

Just to chime in on driveability.....I also have one of Mikey's cams and it drives like a stock car. I have no stalling, bucking, revving issues with car. I am no rocket scientist but I am sure alot of that is in his tune.

I drove it today and it drives really good actually. It bucked a bunch because my brakes are dieing so I am trying not to use them as much as possible until my new ones come. It doesn't stall and the rev problem was something else. It is good and when I get new brakes the bucking won't be a problem

I agree Mike a lot of the people with big cam driveability problems is what their tunes are like. Mikey does a great job with his tunes and with the higher lsa and higher idle it has no stalling problems.

Thanks Jim I am really happy with the numbers, would have loved a 400 hp number but with 75,000 miles not much i can do. I will just have to add more parts haha.

Those are some solid numbers with a stock LS1 intake/TB. Put that 92/92 on there and you'll be 400+ for sure, then the Trickflows will REALLY make that combo shine. This is actually the same setup I'm looking to swap to and the same goal I'm looking to hit - TFS 215s, Dominator 2, 92/92, then 10s all motor in a full weight car. Time to start saving...

Congrats on the new power!

Thanks, yeah i've seen a few of us that are going for the 10 sec club all motor with full weight cars. I think it is going to be difficult especially when this car will be comming up on 100,000 miles by the time i'm done the build but I am hoping she can pull through haha.

Yeah, I don't see any reason why I (or anyone else) shouldn't be able to do it (10s with an NA 346, M6, full weight Fbody). The way I see it, I can hit an 11.7 with only 400/367 SAE in my full weight 3,500 pound car (so far, should go down a tenth quicker at least in the Spring). With the extra 60-70rwhp and way more torque I should see going to a real H/C/I setup, it's definitely possible with some sticky tires and good driving, both of which I should be bringing to the table. And the 11.7 is also on 16" ET Streets. I'll be throwing 15" ET Drags on the car when I start shooting for the 10s and that right there, even now, would give me another tenth or two.

I've always just wanted a very strong running H/C street car. That's been my goal ever since purchasing it but I've spent all the time/money beefing everything up on it and not putting any more power into it. Now that it can handle it, it's time to get rid of these junk heads and wuss cam.

haha yeah I hear that, your cam probably gave you more power under the curve though. But yeah with a nice set of tires i hear you, i'm going with the ET Drags too. Gosh we are going to have an identical setup copy cat!! Have you built up the tranny yet?? I'm figuring with banging gears hard going for the 10's I might end up having to do that which is going to suck but oh well.

them are some pretty stout numbers especially with the LS1 intake. Mikey tuned my Z with a 233/239 and it ran real good. probably gonna have him tune my Trans Am when i put the T-Rex in it . we'll have to meet up in the spring sometime and line them up.
