The Vengeance website says the Trick Flow "as cast" are $1899.... I'm not seeing $1650. That's the price difference of rockers. I just looked up the flow #'s, 305/233.

Here are the flow numbers that came with my stock ascast Trickflows from Ron at Vengeance.

Thanks for the #'s! I'm sitting here writing down all of the heads I'd like to buy considering the flow #'s, intake runner volume, and price.

Maybe Ron missed my post, but what is the out of the box combustion chamber size for the tfs 220's? How much needs to be milled to get them to 59-60cc?

Cool, so a milling of ~0.030 should remove approximately 4cc of combustion chamber volume and reach the optimal compression ratio.... Thanks.

Interesting! Now that the as cast trickflows came down in price they are definitely more competitive.

Definitely a valid comparison in my book. Makes the TFS as cast a strong runner for my choice when it's time.

I was told no need for aftermarket rockers, you can shim the stock ones to work.
Shimming the stock rockers reduces the sweep pattern, BUT INCREASES THE TIP SCUFFING. The rocker tip scuffing is what causes the guide wear, so don't shim the stock rockers.

I don't know of anyway for the average installer to check tip scuffing, it has to be drawn in CAD and run through the motion.

Its no "salesmans line" its the truth.. Whats wrong with you people??

The darts are POS's compared to the new offerings being made. Shame on them for letting their product fall so far behind the competition

i know i dont post here at all, and that tends to be for a reason, and im not trying to stir the pot, well maybe i am a little bit.... but honestly im kinda unimpressed...

my 04 A4 stalled GTO is putting out nearly those numbers on a slightly smaller cam with DART 225's.....

compared to the 6 speed corvette with a slightly bigger cam and fancy trickflow heads, which see's significantly less drivetrain loss....

422/400 vs 437/418(or is it 415)

15rwhp and 18 rwtq over my GTO with an AUTO, and my "junk darts"

and that dyno was done on 91 octane in arizona, at nearly 100 degrees

i guess im not seeing the big selling point...

:stir stir stir:

just saying...
