Nice gain! Stock fast or ported? Would love to see a graph. I have one that I'm going to put on shortly.

+1 here as well. I also would like to know if this is a stock fast or ported. Judgeing by your numbers I would also venture to say your car is a m6, with headers, exahust, intake and a tune as well. I need to get one of these on my Ls2 gto.

I also had a Fast 92 put on my 02 TransAm as well last week. Mine was ported by VENGEANCE, and I picked up 33 rwhp and 33ftlbs...mine is an automatic. 451/411

Default 92mm fast intake

The intake was non ported stock out of the box!!!!!! . needless to say I was happy with the results. other mods are honker cold air intake, slp 85mm mass air ported 90mm tb, 1 7/8 lngtubes headers withx pipe /cats B&B catback. stock cam & heads still making good hp. 386 rwhp to 410 rwhp air to fuel ratio at 12.8 timing set at 26 to 28 degrees.

According to some literature that I was reading sometime ago the stock Ls2 intake has a lot of leak by and was poorly manufactured. GM switched it's manufacturing process with the LS3 intake to correct the issue.

Nice gains for a non ported fast! It's not surprising though as GM would want to hold back the power of the LS2 knowing the LS3 was coming in a few years.

Hello,
Excellent gains for the mods. Are you going to add a cam at a later date?

I'll more than likely go with a cam with a 228/232 588 to 591 lift. I don't want to go any larger than that . As for the heads I am not sure, 2500+ for trick flows will hurt me deep, I will continue to do my home work, I only want to shell out 1500 at the most for heads.

Great gains with the intake! The bolt-on LS2 and LS3 cars are getting scary fast!

There's another thread here about the Trickflow heads right out of the box that made great power and went for around $1700.

I don't understand this. You are driving a $50k car, have put several thousand in bolt on's on your car and you are wanting to cheap out on the single most important piece of the HP equation. I understand everyone has a budget and when you run out of money, you run out, but I would have looked for other places to save a little coin if it were me.

I am not saying that you have to spend mega money on aftermarket castings, I am just saying to think about the context of what you are doing.

Default 2500 plus for heads?

Well it's funny that you say that about going cheap on the cylinder heads but the company that I WORK FOR JUST announced that they will be laying off employee's (Dow chemical) so needless to say all R&D funding has come to a halt.
