in a nutshell, if you own something that has income from sponsors, you will do whatever necessary to keep the sponsors in good standing and "happy". if someone is raising a ruckus badmouthing one of them, you can just ban them.

Op did you ever get an track results with this setup?
We do not recommend 1.85 rockers if there are other available avenues, such as having us grind a small cam for the stock 1.7's. There will be no track results, as the OP chose to not go through w/ the remainder of dyno testing & track validation.

Not quite, the OP was banned for misusing the board. It is a common occurrence for customers to post grievances directed at forum supporters. Obviously, the forums are kept up as a means for supporters to publish results and draw attention to products or services. However, to maintain integrity it is critical that they allow honest and constructive discourse. In that vein, LS1tech is relatively light on moderation. In this particular instance, the OP elected to misuse the board we support in an attempt to evade his outstanding invoices. Although we are often overly generous with our consultation and work in many instances, we are not a cylinder head charity.

That said, our 241's did manage to make more power than the original graphs. It was done w/ a cam we don't recommend w/ higher than stock ratio rockers, however - the GM LS6 cam. We've got a revision of our 219cc 241 work that we'll eventually get up online at an initial discount to get some results. We're also selling off a pile 241's we've had for years to reclaim storage space, and those will be posted in the FS section. In the meantime, you may simply drop us an email/PM/Vmail regarding 241 work if interested.

Glad you guys like the small cam results.

-Phil

Do you guys have any track times or other results to backup the dyno graphs?

BTW, I'm interested in your 241 heads you have in storage. Because of the marketplace search I can't really view the classifieds on my phone. Could you guys send me a PM when they're up for sale?

I fully understand most shops would rather grind a cam as opposed to adding increased ratio rockers for more lift! My point is 1.85 rockers are a decent way to get a little more out of the stock cam. The internet says they are no good, but the op showed solid gains with them... then after he posts the gain people are saying "it's like adding a small cam", I call bs! Adding increased ratio rockers is a bolton in my book and is not the same as a cam swap!

The site & shop are a work in progress w/ much to be added. For most LS heads we have labor/cnc work options from $500-1200. We've got a few of the popular heads on the shop w/ more to come as we have time to update:

Thanks!

Yep, it's just too easy to throw someone under the bus (banned) and just not have to worry about correcting an issue.

If you knew the whole story, you'd realize that this statement is just stupid.

The problem with most 1.8 roller rockers is price. Even Summit's own brand rocker is $389. That's more than the Summit LS series of cams and in line with most other well known LS cams.

True. Better off with a cookie cutter cam.
