Not to shabby, is it tuned? I would've expected a little more with those mods, even with it being an 01. Now it's time for heads/cam!

It is tuned, before the tune the baseline was 357/357, i was expecting a little higher as well but as my tunner said thats good for an 01 considering 02-04s would be 20 more which would be 387 which is good for an 02-04Z

Looks like solid numbers to me! There's definitely a noticeable difference between the 01's and the 02-04's so I think the tuner is correct.

Just wondering. I dynoed mine when it was stock and it put down 352rwhp/352rwtq.... On 2 different dynojets.

I have a set of Kooks LTs on the way and was just wondering what I could expect with the new mods....

Once again, nice numbers man.

sounds about right...

I had a 01 LS6 long block put into my car...on the stock LS1 tune with intake/headers/exhaust and ported throttle body on a Dyna pack dyno (read 10% lower then a dyno jet I was told by the owner) without a Tune I made 351rwhp and 355rwtq.

so on a dyno jet I would be in the same ball park as you....a little higher if I got a dyno tune.

Well my first thoughts were that the dyno was off, but the same day a C6 Z06 dynoed within 15 min of me and he put down 443rwhp.... Which is the norm, so.... I would just have to say that its alil on the freak side.

I dont have any real track times with the car yet.... Only time I went with the car, the track temps were 168 degrees!!! It was the hottest day of the year at the track and everytime they tried spraying VHT on the track, all it did was make it worse....

Im hoping to make in the 380s with the LTs and a tune....

definitely let me know when you get it dynoed! iv also learned that wheels make a big difference in how much they weigh to power readings. Im not sure how much 18' CROME C5Z rims weight but i know the lightweight gunmetal ones that are optional would probably put more power down because they are extremely light, vs the heavier crome ones. This is just a guess im not sure how much it would effect but i know it does effect it.

I know some people go from a drag rim to street/show tires/rim and can loose 20hp on the dyno.

^^^^ I have the Black w/Chrome lip Z06 Motorsports.... 17s front and 18s rear. I would guess going from the gunmetal ones to chrome would only lose a few hp. My friend went from the stock 18s to some 20s and only lost 8rwhp, so....

Ill definitely keep you in check though....

yes please do, i have crome 18s in the rear, there was a post a week or so ago on the vette forums i believe and the guy went to 19 or 18' crome rims from lightweight carbon or polyurethane whatever the lightweight vette rims are, and lost 15 hp on the same dyno, his car was a cammed c5Z it was like 435 with lightweight rims and 420hp with the lighter weight rims.
