Great numbers, must be a blast to drive. I'd like to see that graph too when you can get it.

Congrats on the numbers! I'm hoping for at least the same numbers as you as our mods are VERY similar, the only major difference being my cam is bigger.

Again, congrats on the sweet numbers. You've got a beast there.

Yea I can see you putting 440ish, Im assuming you have a GTO? The independent rears tend to absorb a bit more power than the live rearends in the fbody from what Im told. Im still regretting not porting my FAST first but oh well.

Sorry bout that I just realized it was a bit confusing, I edited it. That was with the H/C and a mail order tune Just to get the Car up and running, which it did its purpose very well. It was done by frost aka Steve @ Lsxtune.com

thanks, that's cool

kinda makes me really want to get a dyno tune and see if I can't do better than 325rwhp *barf* out of this stupid thing...

starting to wonder if I might have damaged compression rings on the pass side from all the severe backfiring I had prior to getting it running, need to run a compression check

Welp if there is anything wrong they will probably find it while tuning it. As you can see it unlocked a ton of HP for my car, probably wouldn't hurt for that chevelle!

Justin93 what head gasket did you go with - and what compressed thickness? Not sure if you noticed predator-z's comments (responding to my comments) over here:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...head-swap.html

Basically talking about how your head chamber size is pretty small for a 224 cam which makes your DCR pretty high. Did you have a SCR/DCR that you were shooting for with your combo?

I used GM mls gaskets. I talked with Mark AKA predator z before installing this and he assured me that my ptv would be fine and that dynamic would be around 8.97 and static was 11.0:1 However he told me to go with a colder NGK TR6 Plug gapped to .040 instead of a TR55 and get a good tune and I have Zero det. or ping issues. However unlike some people I have ALWAYS run 93 octane in my car no matter what. Now with this new Setup is more important than Ever!

I didn't have any specific goals for Compression, However I am never going to spray, blow, or Boost this motor. I wanted it all muscle and I knew higher compression would give me more power. When I do my iron 408 I will be going with an APS twin Turbo setup and then comes the big power and empty bank account.....
