370 w/ D1SC @ 11psi
Just got the car finally tuned after a long wait. I think it did pretty good for whats done. The car probably would have seen more because it was having belt slip at 5800rpms. I dont think I had the belt tight enough in the first place because I never re-tightened it after the first WOT pulls on the street.
Forged Weber 370 (9:1 compression)
D1SC w/ 3.55 pulley
TEA stg 2 LS6 heads
EPP blower cam (240/232)
LS6 intake
EPP front mount

Nice numbers bro, just quite curious about the 2 runs after what appears to be a baseline. My concern is the huge discrepancy between the 2 tuned runs vs the base line. What was the reason or was there some other issue?? I thought belt slippage caused a dip on the dyno vs a spike ??
Not trash talking at all, you have a pretty damn powerful motor and when you get that belt slippage issue corrected I agree that more power will be found. Just was curious about the wide range in power on the 2nd and 3rd pulls. Thanks.

I have a Moser 12 bolt and the tranny (M6) has been rebuilt by Jason @ TDP. On a dyno jet.
We did quite a few pulls so he just put the 1st pull and the last tuned pulls on the actual dyno graph. On the last run there was a torque spike and Im not sure what caused that. From 629 to 683 was with the cut out open. I dont have a very restrictive exhaust. I changed from a loudmouth resonator to a spiral flow so I guess the s/c doesnt like the spiral flow haha.

The cutout was worth 54 rwhp !! Holy crap does a cutout help out a FI motor !! Have fun with it, just be careful.

I wasn't doubting the gain, just was amazed at how restrictive the exhaust is on an FI motor vs N/A motor. 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 headers with 3 inch x pipes and 3 inch cat backs are more then enough for up to 440 cu in's N/A but you put some boost to a 346, or in this case a 370 and you need a lot more flow. So the cutout bypasses all the restrictions and shows what the car can really do. SWEET !!

I was suprised to see the gain too! This was done on 93 octane with no meth. I think it will make over 700 with just tightening up the belt and even more with a little meth kit . It should see about 13-14psi with the belt tight enough.
