AHH!!! All these awesome H/C threads are REALLY making me want to spend the money on a top dollar H/C/I setup for my car and scrap this weakest setup in the world. Awesome results. Can't wait to see the updated numbers!

I'm sorry that you think having the same duration @ .050" makes the cam the same as anything you have. The lobes on our Tsunami cam were specifically designed for us by Comp. These are proprietary lobes. Feel free to call or PM me so I can tell you the name of our rep at Comp if you feel the need to verify this. I can understand why you'd want to try to have your claim to fame with our stuff, but we do more than pick some lobes off of a Comp chart. We spent five days on an engine dyno trying endless camshafts to find the one that worked best. We tried five different versions of the Tsunami before settling on the one we now sell. Each one used a new lobe profile. We sell based on our testing, not based on spinning the cam lobe wheel of fortune. Your clearance numbers are incorrect, so please delete them. You're feeding into the typical internet mis-information.

Well I'd prepare to put your foot in your mouth. Maybe you should read some of TSP's threads before assuming that because durations match the cams must be the same. TSP has posted numerous times the tsunami uses new proprietary lobes built custom for TSP.

I really expected more out of a sponsor Speed Inc... LOL

Here's a thread where were testing one of the first versions of the Tsunami something like 3.5 years ago.

Nobody in our shop was so insensitive in late 2004 to actual market a cam with the name Tsunami except Joseph (see Indonesia news in 2004). Joseph wanted to release it as the Texas Tsunami back then. We've been revising that cam for years, and finally settled on the lobes we use now and started marketing it a few months ago.

Speed Inc definately owes tsp & this guy a appology for being dumb in their thread.

I have the baseline of my car the one this thread is about. It made 309 rwhp with a lid, tune , and catback !

If you knew me on a more personal level, or vice versa, you would tell it was a bit of sarcasm. Theirs an area of duration and overlap that works well for these combinations; it just happens to be within those duration numbers. So I don't see it as a lobe sheet wheel of fortune. We do alot of work on the dynojet, you guys do more on the engine dyno. Its no surprise we ended up at a similar vantage point.

Good work on your cylinder heads

Insensitive would be the nice way of saying what I'm normally called!

I did test a version of this camshaft quite a while ago and with several different engine configurations: 346ci with stock heads, PRC 5.3 heads, and PRC LS6 heads, then on a 383ci with 5.3L heads. It always did well.

Man, I can say personally that their dyno didn't inflate my car's numbers. That is one sick set up.
