great numbers
Are you saying the SI6 cam is the same cam (same lobes, everything) with a different name, or that it is just the same size at .50 lift?

We do alot of work on the dynojet, you guys do more on the engine dyno. Its no surprise we ended up at a similar vantage point.

Good work on your cylinder heads

apologies if you took my comments out of context

guess i should have kept reading the thread. Ignore the post above.

Good job!

Good peak horsepower and a nice torque curve.

Sorry guys I just noticed yall brought this back up. I was able to squeeze 10 more out of the combo, the only changes I made were TSP 1 7/8" Longtubes and 37# injectors. Also I have about 25K miles on this combo (daily driver) and have had ZERO problems so far

im considering this setup myself, but that torque curve looks kinda funny. it goes up then dips back down and what not. does that hurt the performance?

Somebody get this car to 500RWHP! I along with everyone on here want to see if an electric water pump and a pulley will do the trick.

If not well then there are not to many other options on a stock bottom end LS1.

Possible recipe for a hydrolic roller 500RWHP stock bottom end LS1/LS6:

-Ram air mod
-Some filter that barely holds anything back
-104mm FastToys airlid
-TSP 100mm MAF
-FAST 102mm throttle body
-Ported FAST 102mm manifold
-PRC 227cc heads with 57cc combustion chambers to get that compression up to 11.4:1
-thinner 0.045" MLS gaskets to get that compression up to 11.5:1
-TSUNAMI camshaft or some other all top end cam
-KOOKS headers with 2" primaries and 4" out
-No cats, no mufflers, jump dump it after headers
-No AC
-No power steering
-Electric water pump
-Underdrive pulley
-7000RPM redline
-93 octane
-Some anything but conservative extreme pro tune
(With stock clutch, T-56 tranny , aluminum driveshaft, 10-bolt rear-end, 3.42 gears, rims and tires)

and voilą...500RWHP and maybe, just maybe, a little more

lol

By this time, I hope an electric water pump and underdrive pulley were installed

I'm curious to see if new numbers came along with the updates

Any surging or bucking seeing how it is a DD? And with that high of a lift do you have to replace the springs often?

I think the last time I discussed this car with them when I was there the car had spark knock so I'm not sure how far they'd be wanting to take it.. plus it was sold to someone else not sure if they are on this board or not.
