Default 99 Z28 bolt on dyno

Got my car dyno'd the other day just to see what it would do. I have a 99 Z28 m6 with ls6 intake, p&p throttle body, kooks 1 7/8" longtubes with offroad y and slp loudmouth catback. The car is untuned and I just wanted to see what it would put down.

Good idea, looks likes it's running very rich. Headers are also on the big side for the mods.

Very solid numbers, especially for being untuned. Good tune and you'll probably see 350 no problem.

Yeah i wanna get it tuned. The guy that dyno'd it for me said that he could prolly pick up another 10 or 15 out of it. I didnt think it was that bad for having 91,500 miles on the clock lol

I talked to a few people about that and they said that they will make the same power as the smaller headers and for the same price i figured why not get them now in preperation for the future mods lol

Good numbers, but you're missing out on a LOT without a good tune. Figure at least 15/10 hp/tq and we've seen lots more, up to 25 on a dynojet. Bear in mind this is with my mods in the sig, including those piggy 17x11 rims. I know those cost me 5-7hp. I digress.

Get 'er tuned!

Dynos are simply a tuning tool. It WILL tell you how much improvement you get from each mode, tune, etc. Let us know results of the tune!

See thats what I thought also and a couple people that ive talked to said that i might only get another 5hp or so. I figured that i would get at least like 10 or so. Also the guy that dyno'd the car said that those numbers where corrected or sae or standard or something like that lol. I dont really know that much about it just that it was real numbers

It's not a set number of HP you lose. Some guys claim to have lost double that so it depends on your setup. It's a tradeoff though, for looks and traction. That 5-10HP you lose means **** if you're spinning...
