Two in a row from LG Motorsports/ Cam/head numbers 461/421 Just finished 2 in a row with our G5X- packages. We just finished a G5X-3
and a G5X-2 package, both through full mufflers and got 461rwhp/421rwtq on one and
456rwhp/409rwtq on the other. Both cars had 373 gears, and our LG Pro Long
Tube headers. I'll get a graph up later, my dyno printer is down.
The other bolt ons are a Ported TB, Underdrive pulley, and high flow air
filter. Nothing else. All belts and exhaust were on, just as the car will
drive on the street. One car left for Nashville, and the other car goes to
Alabama this week. I still have a little tuning left on the 461/421 car, and
it should broaden the curve. Both cars are 6 speeds and both are Corvettes.
They run and drive like stock.
One car had LGM cylinder heads, and one had Absolute Speed heads.
We are working on another car with a more agressive cam and head package for
J-Rod to run at the drags. His car should be interesting. We are using a
dual disc clutch on J-rods ride, and trying some new cam and head ideas.

Re: Two in a row from LG Motorsports/ Cam/head numbers 461/421 very impressed with the tq! i would like to see some videos as some will question (imagine that) your term "drives like stock." these are some mega cams and i atleast want to hear them on the street. Alan's video was pretty agressive to say the least back when he made a video.
What part of Bama??.. I'll need to watch my ***

Re: Two in a row from LG Motorsports/ Cam/head numbers 461/421 Lou are these LS1 heads or LS6 heads.If LS1 heads how much more hp with the LS6 heads.I have a Z06 and I'm pondering a couple changes this winter.J-Rod's car sounds interesting.If the car idles and does'nt stall it's streetable to me.

This weekend at the track I saw a black Z06 with an LGM heads/cam package running on street tires, so he couldn't do anything really, but babying it off the line, then getting sideways in each gear, and not really getting in it til close to the 1/8 mile mark, he was still trapping low-mid 120s IIRC.

He didn't get a real "Drag Racing" clutch, only a spec 3, which I told him would be better on the street, but not with slicks on at the strip. So he said that he was going to run on his stock street tires just for fun. 120's sounds good.
J-Rod will "Punish" the car at the 1/4 mile, and we should finally get a good G5X package time with a serious racer with our cam and head package.

Would be a convenient choice Dave. LG works closely with Jay at Absolute. You could get Absolute heads, with an LG cam and Headers. Would make a nice combo for sure!

I got my heads today, and I hope that I can come close to that. Now, the install begins.
