I only dynoed with mine open, kinda wish I hadn't now that I've driven it more

it runs like *** with them open, shifts go soft and the car feels like it's losing 20hp...could be mental but damn it's depressing other than the noise, fuel mileage goes to crap too it seems

I picked up 12rwhp 11rwtq vs going through b&b triflo..

Its worth having an E-cutout just to open it up on people when they don't expect it.

I even tried a trick at the track one time, launched with it closed and flipped the switch after I launched..by the time it opened I was rolling good on high rpms. It actually 60ft better..it was either from more low end tq or less low end tq..either way if you are searching for et you will try anything.

I will say it ran 1mph more in the 1/4 open vs closed, several times

Here is mine with the duals.. I always seem to get a better ET with them open.

Not the fastest runs, but you can get idea how much louder it is over stock.

At an 1/8th mile track my buddy, who has the exact same setup as me minus the cut-out, was running .2 slower and a couple mph less than me. He's getting one welded in this season so should make for some fun races.

I wondered what the gains might be if the car was dynoed while spraying.

My last time at the track last year I went from an average of 124-125 with the cutout closed to 130mph back to back with the cutout open. This is a heads/cam/intake car spraying 150 shot. I also picked up 2 tenths on motor with the nitrous tune in the car. I could not believe it so I made several runs with it open and closed, the car was a complete animal on the bottle with the cutout open. Pacesetter headers, slp y-pipe magnaflow cat back, cutout mounted under rear passenger seat. Could not dead hook the car on the bottle so it only ran a 10.84.

Very Loud but i'm working on finding a couple 6" magnaflow bullets to put before the tips to kill some sound/rasp.
