Yea I believe I could've went with a cam that was a little more peaky. The torque this setup has with no weight over the *** is not a good combo. But damn its fun laying black marks on the interstate

hahaha, its been collecting dust along with the single turbo 2001 with the 5.3l. I was daily driving my 98' for a bit with a 5.3l t-56 combo. I sold that though, it went 13.0@107 and got 24-28mpg.

Nice curves (or lack of ) that thing is almost flat.
Better exhaust would help to get it over 400/400

Also in the tuning you might want to fatten it up a bit from 2500 rpm to 4K pm

With a bit of tweaking you can get more out of it. I'm glad you like it.
I love those XFI lobes

Advertised cam specs are 224/236 .609/.607 111+2 LSA

New Numbers with a ported FAST 92 and Mandrel Bent exhaust all else is the same. The truck picked up over 4 MPH at the track. I'm really impressed in the gains of the intake. I never would have expected this power with shitty 1 1/2" shorty headers.

Thumbs up

What do the 60' times look like? 112 MPH is enough to go bottom 12's with enough launch. Heavy or not, I like how streetable it looks. It appears that it could be daily driven comfortably.

EDIT: It picked up 4 MPH? How much did the ET improve? 116 MPH is definately enough to go 11's.
