Dynoed the G/F's 08 Cobalt SS/TC
Her Cobalt has 15k miles on it and is BONE stock with a K&N filter. There is no tune of any kind in the car. Check out the gain on the last pull, we chilled the intercooler with a nitrous bottle just for the hell of it. Needless to say, we were all pretty shocked... I am still kicking myself for selling my spare bottle... I think this car is in need of a spray bar or a 50-75hp dry shot.

A tune should net close to 300/330 from what I have seen. I think a tune and a spray bar would really wake it up. Too bad we don't want GM to screw us on the warranty.

I ran into one of those things a few days ago in my bolt on M6 LT1 Camaro.
From a roll, 30-100 he had about 4 cars on me. The guy said the only thing done to it was a tune from some kind of handheld tuner.
A few days later, my GF ran into him in her cam/stall LS1 T/A. I was with her she was driving, from about 40 to 120, she had about 4 cars on it. We pulled on it steadily untill he shifted into fourth, after that we put several cars on it.
I was impressed, I knew they were quick. But very respectable for just a tune.

We could go that route, I worked for Hendrick Chevy for 2 years so I know all about the "performance upgrades". They are designed to be safe and are way over priced, even at my price. I could get more out of a tune then I could with all that stuff for a FRACTION of the price. It kinda sucks that GM has these Bosch PCM's so wrapped up.

Nitrous was not sprayed into the intake and please show me where I said the LAST run was stock. I do believe I stated that Nitrous was sprayed on IC for the gains on the LAST pull which in turn cooled the air charge and made it much more dense.
Regardless the car made 243/248 BONE stock. Thank you.

I have a buddy with an 05 cobalt m5 with the 2.2 ecotec, power options and no spare tire or trunk lining, and it weighs 2650 empty. Not bad, they are pretty quick and I would like to have one for sure for a dd.

those LNF cobalts are sweet. i'm lovin the power gains they get with minimal mods. 300whp+ with intake and tune is sweet. people are in mid-high 300'swhp on stock turbo's with boltons and good tuning. verry impressive. nearly 400whp and tq in a 2900lb car should be very quick.
