Probably bumped the rev limiter. They cant rev too high with the blower. Ive seen many gt-500's at the track with full bolt ons go low 12's. They make power. Just not were you need it to go fast I guess. Im not hatting on it I have owned Mustangs in the past.

My bud was looking at a new gt 500. I showed him this and last night we went to the ford show room where they had five of them from $37,000 to 45,000. Looks like he's getting one. The car looks great and i hope he lets me take a spin in it.

Last night at the track here there was one with full bolt ons, kenny bell and about everything else you can do to one with slicks . Driving the crap out of it very well went 10.6x @129 I think. Not to bad but should have been faster considering the money put into it. Had to have been around 80k.

$80K? I just bought my brand new GT500 for $40K and can add a complete Kenne Bell setup for $5600. Add headers for another $1k and that is less then $47k for 700rwhp+. Not sure where you got $80k from.

That kit for 5600 comes with everything you need. Boost a pump, injectors, supercharger all that good jazz. 700rwhp for 5600 and stock forged bottom end!!!

My friend works at the local FORD dealer and all their gt-500's are "market value priced at 70k and up. They sold for 110k when they first came out. We always wonder why but thats what they go for here. I will try to get him to post up. By the way why are guys with only Mustangs in their sig on here ?

$70k was the ridiculous markup when they first came out. You can walk into almost any Ford dealer now and pick one up for $1500 under MSRP. I actually found a leftover brand new 08 that I picked up for $39k. I will update my sig to include the new Shelby and update the 404 stroked C6 also.

That's alot of power...... But when I hear a v8 on 23lbs of boost and it only made 730 on race gas then it don't sound very impressive. The ford guys better neal before the boost gods and pray the new Camaro don't get a some sort of boost on it. What do ya think a ls3 would make on 10 or 12 lbs?

ya they are both 6.2's, they dont share the same internals do they? if so the new SS is begging for a blower...

Align 5 u have a point there..... But GM's tune on that car is very consevitive compared to the full race gas tune of the GT500.

I'm not sure. I am sure the ls9 6.2 has upgraded internals and the ls3 doesn't

I know about the zr1 factory tune, very conservative. GM does have to warranty it which probably has something to do with it. LOL. A race gas tuned w/headers zr1 put down around 730 rwhp hp awhile back didn't it ?? 18 psi can't remember for sure.
