I am wondering how it works out (bore / stroke) and also what block is being used. I am guessing a tall deck warhawk block, 4.187 bore and, a 4.5 inch stroke. It works out to 495 ci and 8.1ish liters.

I will update this thread as we progress, I expect in the next few days we will near 675 rwhp, and potentially more

very strong and great results. what are the specs of the LS7 short block to make 8.0 liters which equals 488ci? what are the G8X4 ported heads?

I visited Louis at the shop yesterday. It's truly a legit build for one for all the nay-sayers. And I hope they get that bigger TB on there today for some new results. I only heard it run from start up to about 5K rpms since they were retrofitting an older TB on to a new style harness. Good job man. Nice to see ya yesterday too. You've grown a little in size since I last saw you several years ago. Ive added a few gray hairs myself..LOL

A larger tb (100+ mm's) should add a good 10+ rwhp and even more torque if you use my lgm built 402 as an example of a larger cubed motor going from a 90 to 95mm tb that gained 7 rwhp and 17 rwtq. The 488 should gain even more I would think. We'll see.

How about an update Louis.

Update time? What size TB is going on a 100MM? Have you tested the intake for a restriction? Do you think a sheetmetal intake would pick up any? That is the most power I have ever heard of through an ls7 intake just wondering when the intake maxes out? It must be maxed out here. I bet the ls7 intake would have better power under the curve with the 100mm TB compared to say a beck sheetmetal intake? Agree?
