I love seeing these pat g cams and stock 243's curves. Can't wait til I do mine.

So if this was done in 3rd gear what numbers would it put down?

Or a farther guess what would the numbers be on an M6 car?

Just curious...

The 3rd gear number would be impossible to know because the C6 exceeded 160mph on the dyno, aborting the run. That's the problem with 2.56 gears. 3rd gear pulls make the top speed too high. The important thing to see the delta between the before and after on the same dyno. 60 rwhp gains are always nice.

Thanks Pat, I agree the delta is what is really important. I was just curious as to what the difference in power would be gear to gear? I have never really seen it discussed. I always assumed dynoing in a 1:1 ratio was to allow slower rpm increments yielding more accurate dyno measurements.

Hello working on a 5,3 with thumper cam. Wonder how much you programmed 0-1000rpm timing/spark to?
