Default bone stock '99 formula M6 dynoed

click on picture for graph, its pretty high resolution

132k miles, all original.

it went 13.7 @ 103 2.2 60' banging off the limiter in 3rd (couldnt get in 4th gear because of stock high mileage clutch hydraulics)

Cool. I have pretty much the same car, before the mods.

Seems healthy for that many miles.

good power for that many miles, just wondering why would you pay to have a stock car dynoed, usually people get it tuned when they mod....or maby you got it free?? just wondering.

a bunch of our friends are friend with a dyno, and we have a dyno day about twice/ 3 times a year.
40 bucks for 2 pulls. im sure pete will do some mods, but why not see what it does stock.

he was there strapping everyones car down, why not do his right away.

yep i would definatly do that too, around here its 550.00 for a tune, dont know about just 2 pulls to see what you have, that clears things up a lot.

So you wen't from 304 to 312 by just removing the filter?

we also have a friend (who is a member here) who im sure will throw a tune in it. then just drive it and keep tuning, then maybe do a dyno tune, or a track tune for ALOT less than 550.

im not sure what the 304 is, but it made i believe 311 with the stock air box and filter, and 312 hot lapping it next pull with out the air filter, the lid was supposed to stay open and it closed.

there was also another friend there with a bone stock 02 c5 that made 312whp also..

previous owner did that. I asked him why he said "I liked that one better." I asked if it had been in an accident and they changed the hatch he said no.

removing the filter gained nothing. the lid is the restriction, but that is fixed now

SAE it made 304/328. STD it made 313/337, uncorrected was same as STD.

haha I wish but I doubt it. It probably makes ~350 SAE crank hp, just like most LS1s. I am glad I bought a strong running car though! I was expecting low 290s.

I got an SLP lid on it now and a cutout waiting to be installed then thats it. Car needs to be paid off first and the wonderful economy doesn't leave much extra spending cash . gotta get the free mods done too.

I am hitting the strip again on the 19th for a grudge match with a stock mach 1 with DRs. Ill be borrowing a set of drag radials, hoping I dont bust my rear. I would LOVE to crack a 12.9 with better driving and now being able to shift in to 4th gear but that may be dreaming. in reality I just want to beat the mach 1 haha.
