Question

what are the specs of the cam?

If you wanna be secret about it like everybody else can you post a general idea of the duration and lift? Or pm me if you like.

I'm in the market for a new H/C ...

What kind of fuel were you running? It looks like you have a stand alone cell for the nitrous in there. Running a high or low pressure system?

Is there an issue with the valve train? Looks like an issue around 6600 NA and it shows again with the nitrous around 6300?

Appears it doesn't always take a 250 duration cam to make power.

Yeah, but a 250 cam on this engine is probably a mild-to-medium cam too.

My question was why so small of a cam? There is obviously a reason to it. (i.e. street car, daily driver, only car, etc, etc.)

Maybe, just maybe, with certain combinations, a smaller cam may be the best choice and may even make more power..

The main reason is that our RR-LETHAL cam is awesome. PERIOD!!! this shows that is works great in an LS7, In 454 lsx, 454 with nitrous. What more do you want. My wife can drive it...Easily. Bigger is not always better. The valve events on this cam are perfect. I have seen it out dyno bigger cams day in and day out. Our whole line of cams are tested multple times before release to public. We don't design something and just throw it out there for someone else to try. This gives are customers the confidence to know that we run what recommend in our own cars. LS7 heads and Intake stop flowing all that well any way after a 234+ Intake duration. Anything bigger would add up 10hp for SH*tty drivability and a car you begin not to like.

Thos car is nowhere near a sleeper. You should hear it in person. It sound like a baddass car.
