Default FAST LSXR Dyno Results (LS7)

Has anyone had a chance to do any testing on this intake? Normally as soon as a new intake from FAST is released we have all kinds of threads going. This time I can't find anything on this forum with results (good or bad). I know Katech has done a test but anyone else since they have been released?

Thunder Racing is currently doing a true A-B comparison. Stock LS7 manifold to stock FAST 102 LS7r manifold. Look for results by the week's end.

Went to that thread. Very surprising, but Ragin Racin did say check back when he's torn the intake apart, fully ported and reassembled and added a 100mm tb.

Hope it adds power across the board, or this doesn't look pretty for the new fast.

Corvette Forum is where you want to look in the C6 Z06 section. You'll find more results like what Ragin found there.

I have been watching the threads on here and CF closely. I would just think there would be more results by now. Good or bad.

For that much money, you should not have to port the damn thing to make horsepower.

Why should the customer be the engineer.

Slowhawk, looking forward to your results.

Question though, will a stock cam or bigger cam take better advantage of the new intake ? Or is too soon to know ?

Mine is sitting on the pool table, and it's too hot here for me to even worry about it now. Shawn has already given me the results I need to see, and we expected a bit more. I am not ready to spend a 1/2 day on the dyno soaking wet because it's 100 outside w/ 90% humidity. I'm a puss, but a damn fast one

I saw one getting installed on Tuesday, thing looked killer!

But wouldn't the largest opening still be the smallest restriction?

I would think that unless your hogging down all that air anyways, that you reach a point of diminishing returns. It'd make more sense to go to ITB's anyways.

I guess not. Looks like a stock modded one seems to do ok.
