Why and please dont tell me about how strong they are because like I said 500+ hp to these engines are nothing . Take a motor like sigforty has 502rwhp now put a iron 408 making the same thing maby a little more and put in the car the 383 will et better all day long . I just dont understand why eveytime someone ask about a big inch motor eveyone says 408 408 408 when a 383 or 370 will make good power for cheaper . jmo

They say that because its there personal opinion.

My personal opinion is the lightweight ls2 aluminum block. No need for me to run an iron block. Strongly suspect that I'll be staying N/A unless something happens to change my mind.
