Default ls1 500HP?

so..i bought i set of AFR 205's 66cc with a ported FAST 92/92mm...still undecided on the cam but, the build suggested a 610"/619"....also Fast Toys ram air kit ,slp underdrive pulleys and a 175 wet shot..all this on a 98 z28 m6...is it possible to get to without the nos? 500hp....also any suggestion on the cam since i haven't got one yet ,i thinks this will be a good time to take advice from someone experience before getting one. thanks

build looks good, i think you will definitly be high 400's with the right sized cam but 500 is a hard number to crack. I'd have patrick g spec you a cam, he is the cam guru. Also i believe he had a 500 hp motor car

that damn 500hp 346 is sweet but the parts required cost to much. I would be happy with some 215's a good cam and 470 through a stalled A4.

I think the guy may be talking 500 engine, not rwhp but who knows. 500rwhp is not an easy feat but very possible. I would go with TFS's though.

Find somebody's 500rwhp build and duplicate it exactly.

here is our 500+ combo. Pricey, ya a bit. Especially being in the nitrous industry when you could spend half the money and add a small amount of spray to get the same results. Either way that combo should be repeatable. results below were 492, but with the cutout finanly installed it picked up a lot and went well over 500.

There are lots of proven combos that have been put together to break 500rwhp, best thing to do is contact one of the sponsers and tell them your goals.

500 HP at the crank is not hard to do but 500 to the rear wheels with 346 cubic inches of engine is a different story...bring lots of money the last 30 HP is expensive to do...I didn't want to spend the money and settled for 452/418 and still get 27.5 MPG on the highway as a daily driver.

To omega doom who made 414 HP that is the EZ half of the formula to get to 500 HP the next half especially the last 25 to 30 is the hard part .... read Patrick G's thread on how to get to 500 RWHP and you will see how it is done...It is listed in the 4th post of this thread (the recipe to 500 rwhp) ...a good selection of high quality mods that compliment each other and attention to details get you to the goal ... if it was EZ everyone would be doing it...

it seems like lots fo people do it but the money it takes is pretty crazy. I think its most for bragging rights. I'd save the money and put it towards a stroker, that way you'll be well past 500.

how come it is more common to see 500rwhp out of a 346 which is 1.44rwhp/per cube over a 580rwhp 402 stroker, which is the same 1.44rwhp per cube???

I think the thing that would be most impressive is to see someone do 500rwhp with a stalled A4. Then I would be impressed.

Ok, ok. Be impressed: I have the set-up you're talking about.
