We just finished up and new heads and cam combination and thought we'd take a moment to post it up for everyone.
It's a new approach.
This setup is not for everyone. We should be hitting the track with it soon.
The car is a Trans-Am with a manual transmission. The heads are in-house modified TFS, the camshaft is our own 4-XS camshaft.
And the bottom end is still a stock 346....we know it's pushing it.![Nod](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_nod.gif)
The customer wanted to remain anonymous for now,
I'm sure he'll poke his head in here soon though.
Enjoy.

That's quite the potent little motor.

Nope, 93 octane pump gas, I was there when they poured it in. ![Nod](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_nod.gif)
It's a slightly higher compression than stock (milled heads etc.) but the pistons (and rods, and crank etc.) are the very same ones that came with the 346 from the factory.

Depends on what you have already. Lots of parts... the customer already had one of our old setups so like I said, it depends on what you have.
Pump gas, 93 octane. The compression is a little higher, but within the realms of pump gas.
Custom setup.
