Default cam,nitrous and 149k =!!!

got my car dyno'd yesterday, car is a 2000 m6 with 149k, the cam is similar to a torqer v2 but a custom by pat g. needless to say im pleased i went in expecting 390 on motor.

First pull cutout closed: 378/379

Second pull cut out opened: 386/386

Last pull cut out open and 150 shot: 504/538

all this is thru the stock ls1 intake i plan on getting ls6 intake, under drive pulley and new plugs and wires the beginng of the yearand going back to see if that gets me 400 on motor.

icant post graph on my ps3 but when iget to a cpu i will. hopefully that will get me somewhere in the 11's with some sticky tires.

Why did you say he's a brave man. Is it because of the miles on the car. Nice numbers.

save up for a 92/92 i bet you would be over 400 cut out closed 405-415 with the ud pulley and a new 92/92 set up

the LS6 is a stock intake why would you want to upgrade to that?

A ported 90/90 would put him well over his mark.

A ported 90 combo did nothing for me. lol But... I will grow into it with heads. LS6 intake is still a proven budget intake for pre 2001 cars.

We are in the middle of a recession.........why spend all that $$$ on a 92/92 when you can just change jets to 175hp? You can reach your goal in 10 min. ! Just use 93 oct. and TR7 plugs.

A ported Fast is not neccesary for the O.P's combo. It would probably be bit overkill. An LS6 intake would better suit his setup and probably his budget for now.

Remember, bigger is not always better.

This.

FAST intakes are not a necessity for making power on a cam car, or heads/cam car.

ET is going to pertain more to suspension setup, tire choice, gear choice, weight, launch, etc more so than it will raw HP #'s.

Good luck.

I also have a little w8 reduction as well so I'm hoping for 10.99 my car is a 6sp and I can hold my own with it. Lol its a poor mans build I bought most of my parts on here heck I even bought the car on here.

With that size I cam I would guarantee a 30+Rwhp increase, minimum. I would say that is worth the money.
The ls6 is a decent choice and will get the job done (especially on small cam cars), but I would rather spend another 500$ and pick up an extra 20Rwhp or so. Guess it just depends on what you look at being "not worth it".
