Thanks for the comments guys...hahaha..yeah the spray comment has come up a lot!! I have the opportunity to do it-200 shot actually. I'm not saying I won't...just might wait a couple days..enjoy the drive a little, and the shocked faces of people I pass!! As far as the valve spring question/comments..they ARE aftermarket! Not stock Ls6 springs..but for the exact compression rate and what kind they are ( i think they are comp cam) I'm not sure. I did look at them before I put the engine in my car.

call me crazy but the graph looks like it's showing the engine still making power until you hit the limiter.

You do not say, but if you are running dual 3 inch exhaust you are fine. If it is a single 3 inch you definitely have some room to grow. The numbers look good with that small cam.

Yeah I am running only 3 inch single tube exhaust to the muffler. True dual on these type of cars is waaaay too much of a hassle/money and not in my budget right now. I was told that the exhaust was too small for the engine (which sucks cause its a brand new install) and that I should have gone to 4 inch. I am getting 34 lbs of exhaust back pressure which is pretty significant..oh well...

I don't think it hit the limiter actually but yeat, I do agree that it was still pulling right through the end. I guess that was just the way he tuned it.

agreed, running the true dual exhaust is a royal pain, NO clearance to stow the pipe, just not worth it. I am running the FLP headers and their Y-pipe, fit really good, installed it myself,, and after that I couldnt see trying to fit true duals under the car. Glad you are happy with the engine, I am in the process of building my 383 right now, hope to be done around february.

are you sure? What was that at 0:42? I'm just saying it might have made even more power if they would have rev'd it higher.

The rev limiter on this engine doesnt kick in till about 6800. I agree I think it might have made more power if he rev'd it higher but he's the pro on the tuner so I assume he knew when to cut it.

It is an absolute riot.....its amazing how significantly it can change your mood when you start to drive and lean into the pedal..

Absolutely! 1st and 2nd go by really quick but those 3rd and 4th pulls-you can really feel yourself getting pressed into your seat. Great feeling.
