Default 460cid LSX

Just a short vid of my 460 LSX idling on the engine dyno. 13:1 compression, Callies Magnum Crank, Callies Rods, Ross Custom Pistons, ETP C5R 265 heads, Jesel Pro Stock Rockers, 900+ lift 320+ duration Cam. ARE 3 Stage Dry Sump, Beck Custom Intake, RevXtreme Custom Billet 105mm Throttle Body, BigStuff 3 EMS. Put down 765HP@7100 RPM's and 576 Ft/Lbs@6200 RPM's on a FATASS tune. Once it's in the car, We should have it over 800HP easy. It can idle under 1000RPM's and purrs like a kitten.

Nitrous setup from my friend Nitro Dave capable of spraying 3 stages up to 1500HP. Won't use it until the car is well track tuned NA.

Thanks to Randy at PER Race Engines and Don Bailey!

It should make considerably more than what it is making now once the tune is figured out. How much do you actually plan on spraying through it? My kit will spray 1200 through two stages, but I know my engine won't take nearly that much.

The motor was built for spray but I figure I won't spray more than 500 or so. The initial tune is a really simple one only for testing. it spins up to 9500 RPM's in no time. Probably launch it at 8500 NA and 9k or more on the spray.

The 496 is a tall deck block. Mine is the standard height deck and is probably the biggest you can go.

I am no expert but isn't that 105mm TB holding you back quite a bit?

Nope. Not at all. 1550CFM is plenty of air.

It's the original one. I have to admit, this project has taken a REALLY long time to get to this point.
