Default Jim'sz28 making 516 rwhp, 510 lb/ft tq

I'll let Jim chime in with the mods, but wanted to post his graph showing how much power this set up produces, through a mostly dysfunctional cut out (would not open but about 10%). Tuned yesterday

Very Nice!

No.could not even get my pinky in it. Its a brand new 4" QTP electric. it was pretty tight area under the dyno so didnt want to remove it. Much better weather cond. yesterday. Added a little more timing between 4k and 5500. pulled it to 6300 this time too.

honestly,I went there to see what the cutout would do,but no go. But gave jeremy a little time to play. I also put a fernco in place of the unused 85mm MAF (still had the screen)

Just noticed the dip in power at 5900 rpms. Any idea why?

It will also make you want to invest in some sticky tires. The lowend torque just shredds tires in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd !!! Something to be said about making 400+ rwtq at 3000 rpms ! Even a drag radial at 24 psi and up to temp has issues on the street so throttle mgt is crucial.

Nice numbers....I had the hooker catback and a single 3" cutout on my old H/C LS1 and it did 444 with the cutout shut and 457 with the cutout open. I thought the Hooker would flow a little better than that. It sounded good though.

I see your sig but I'm not sure what motor you're running. Please elaborate on the modifications. Thanks.

I'm running a 415 bottom end now. The sig was my H/C numbers and didnt want to change it until everyone one could compare them. The only difference was the 415 and the Kook headers and Y pipe. Thanks everyone. John, can not 60ft the car to save my life.I miss my auto.

OK, so is that a 6.0 iron or aluminum block that's punched out and using a bigger crank?
