Figured i would share

Yeah, it's always a good idea. I remember my buddy use to have a 2003 350Z. I told him to baseline it, but he was in such a hurry to get it modded that we put on a CAI and cat-back and then got it dynoed. After the dyno he asked me how he's supposed to know what he gained and I told him he can't now without taking the mods back off, haha. From then on he always baselined.

Yours should run strong with that setup! You gonna get some drag radials and then it to the track?

Yes. Going to grab some et streets and see what it does like this. Tracks open april 17th
then built auto, stall, cam. Hopefully be over 400whp with track times to back it up by the end of the summer.

Just curious but a bit low? This is on a mustang dyno.
The highest my tuner has ever seen a bolt on ls1 do was 360whp through a manual.
That car had everything, fast intake and what not.

Sounds good, let us know how it does! 400 rwhp might be tough cam-only through a high stall, but I'm sure it'll run like a raped ape either way!

Fully agree. But my tuner said it wont be a problem with this car at all.

NIce numbers. Especially on a Mustang Dyno... Mustang Dyno's are very bias, and tend to give GM cars lower numbers, but Fords a lot higher numbers... jk

haha, yes! a whole lot of gm butt hurt happens on mustang dynos.

I was seriously hoping i could get 290whp...

FirebirdSS - What year is your 8,000 mile SS? My '98 SS has 22,000 miles on it and I catch hell from friends for not driving it much

I wouldn't worry about those numbers at all. Numbers are only numbers, its how you get down the track that counts. What matters here is that your results show that a even a stock LS1 likes 1/7/8 headers.

I think your going to be quite happy once you get to that converter and tires.

This is why i went with them. About 75% of c&s business is lsx related and he said that is why i am making the power without even falling off. He said if he had to take a guess of what my car was going to end up putting down, he would have said 290.
