Default 04 z06 TSP tsunami cam

Just got off the phone with my tuner, going to pick her up tomorrow, will video the dyno runs. He said this cam was a lil tuff to get right but said he was amazed at how good its street manners are once he got it dialed in.

Car has:
2.5" Borla catback
ARH 1 3/4" headers
3" x 3" off road x-pipe
Vararam Cold Air Intake
self ported throttle body
TSP cam kit w/ tsunami cam
Everything else stock

Any guesses as to what its going to make? Will be on a dynojet.

Talked to the tuner a few mins ago, says I am going to love the car. Said it runs strong and I think he is as anxious as I am to see what it dynos tomorrow. Id be so happy with 430 rwhp and 390 tq. Thats my guess.

I agree with the above guesses, 42X/39X. What are the specs on that cam, it's pretty big right?

I did 433/400, I does take a little time to get use to but not too bad. I wouldn't want to drive it in heavy traffic every day!!

Just got home, went bowling on the way home from picking it up
Numbers were lower than I expected but I dont really care, what it traps this weekend at the track will tell its true coolers. Im waiting on the tuner (who did an amazing job with drivability and is a good guy) to email me the graph.
Numbers were 416/385 ish SAE, uncorrected and STD numbers were ~10 hp higher, temp was in the 70s. Lower than I expected, could prob get in the 42x/39x range with an UD pulley. My duty cycle was in the 98~ percent range, Any more mods I will have to be getting bigger injectors. Driveability for a cam this big (235/240 111lsa) is pretty good. Dont have to feather the throttle coming to a stop or anything like I did untuned. There is still some bucking <1200 rpms but that is to be expected. I could drive this car everyday everywhere. I was a freaking idiot for not getting it tuned right away. Its a 100 percent different car. What, most bolt on z06s make 380-390 rwhp? so thats a 35~ hp increase for just the cam, not too bad I guess.

Don't want to drive ~3hrs to the 1/4 mile track closest to me this weekend. If I can get someone to go with me ill do it, if not ill be going to a 1/8th mile track thats around an hour away.

I know the feeling. Closest 1/4 track to us is over 2 hours. The closes fast 1/4 track is Ennis which is over 5 hours!

I think the closest to me is Darlington, hooked pretty good but last time I went I was there 3-4 hours and only got to run 3 times. Def. not worth the 3 hour drive, I promised myself I would not go back haha, but I still may. Its like they didn't care about the street cars there, just the big money race cars/bikes
