Just wanted an explanation in "laymen" terms...what does it all mean compared to my previous dyno

You really need to dyno motor to motor to know the real loss/gain imo.

upgrding to an s60 rear and going from a shot of 125 to a shot of 150 gave you like an extra 150 lb ft of torque??? dont understand how that works

the torque, although expected, should not bump THAT much. all in all good numbers. how does it feel in the car?

NO. I upgraded the Rear AND added an addtional 25 shot.
The Tq. rating is not from the No2 but it does play a small factor. I'm about to upload the Dyno with the stock rear and the exact same setup other than the fact it had a 125 shot.

When I drop the hammer In third on the highway, the tires spin and the *** tries to come around, it then digs in and drops...and awaayyy we go!

Correction!!! I just remembered I upgraded my fuel pump on the newer Dyno run I dont think that has alot to do with the Tq gains though.

basically its not a rear comparison of motor with stock rear then going to s60 rear with same gearing soo you added +25hp to your shot and made or added more than what the s60 would take away ..i think not a comparison at all just new numbers with a few more modifications

Good point. I did'nt think of that. I forgot that I added UMI Front & Rear bars, adj. Torque arm and loop when I installed rear as well which would also contribute to the increased Tq. rating. So these are just "new #'s"

I am failing to understand how changing the suspension components will change the torque reading, unless you were spinning on the dyno before and you think the new stuff is making it hook.

Hmmm...I thought the suspension (Torque Arm and shorter Drive shaft) would help transfer the power to the rear better.

Something is very odd...Im not sure why the Tq. jumped as high as it did.

Im going to get it another Dyno pull on the 28th.

If the tires were not spinning, those components would make no difference whatsoever.

All the dyno measures is how fast that roller accelerates.
