Default Dynomite dyno question

I had my car tuned on a Dynomite dyno after the H/C went on.

Mods: PRC stage 2.5 5.3L heads, PatG cam 228/231 .598/.601 114, LPP LTs and ory, magnaflow catback, Summit racing 80mm throttle body and either 38 or 42 lb injectors (the actual flow rate is eluding me at the moment).

According to the sheet it made 403.9 hp and around 370 tq. Does that sound right?

Forgot to post those details.... M6, LS6 intake and the factory 10 bolt. It also has a textralia x- grip.

It sounds a little low, but I am always hesitant to judge from one dyno alone.

There have been so many 'controversial' threads lately over what type of dyno to do and of course the never ending SAE vs STD argument.

If you are going for maximizing your tune, I would use whatever dyno allows you to do that to the max. But, anymore (just personal opinion) unless you are on a well-established dyno and using SAE numbers..and can back them with track numbers..you tend to get 'barbecued' on this forum.

So, yes those numbers sound low for H/C..But take it to a LS1 Speed-Shop in Chicago, and see what it may do. It may be easier to judge your numbers. Its hard to find a track open yet, so thats my best advice for you at this point.

Ultimately you have to be the judge. Are you happy with how your car performs. Thats the bottom line.

Good luck..

Thanks for the reply. I was questioning the dyno since when they called to say it was done it made 385 rwhp. The next morning when I picked it up they ran it again and made the 409. That just seemed like a big jump to me.

I've had it to the track once. Trapped 114 mph spinning all of first and most of second. I know dyno numbers don't really mean that much, just wanted a second opinion.
