Your cam is probably a lot bigger than the one I wanted in my car. Give Shawn a call and see if he wants to share the specs.

Here's the dyno chronology:

427 Old Cam............................................605/588

427 New Cam...........................................621/601

427 Port Matched FAST w/ 90mm TB............633/616

427 Shawn Miller massaged FAST/107mm TB..656/614

It looks like Shawn managed to get the FAST to produce 35hp with the FAST. Not too bad,

VA Speed is 180 miles from home but well worth the drive. A bunch of people from NoVa make the drive to VA Speed.

I have a bud that lives in the Dallas area and took his Vette to a tuner in Ok. Apparently pretty well known. I can get the name if you don't know who I'm talking about.

Ed, you da man!! Nice work on the tune sir!

Kevin, you've created a monster. That's crazy power from a mild build. All done by 6500 with a smooth idle and pump gas friendly. A less expensive wet sump LS7. Most of all, reliable.

Thanks for showing off the potential of of our Stage 3 heads.

Happy Cruising

Richard
Thanks for being an important part of this ongoing project the last couple of years Richard. The Stage 3 L92's are knockouts! Great power in this mild configuration and I can't imagine how they would perform with one of Carey's manifolds and a carb TB. 700hp should be very doable.

Thanks again,

Kevin

I am debating whether or not to have a Nick Williams 102mm TB installed on my Z06. I just had a 102mm FAST intake installed with the stock ported TB and made 601 RWHP and 555 RWTQ and I have heard nothing but nightmares regarding the drive-ability, idling, surging and various other issues with this TB. Right now it is hard to believe that my car is making this much power, it is so docile, even at parking lot speeds. I have no doubt that The Vette Doctors can tune it well, they have always been fantastic for me, it's just that I would hate to gain 10 HP and sacrifice day to day drive-ability. Keep in mind that my car does not go to the track and I expect it to start whenever and wherever I ask.......any opinions.

The drivability problems are the tune. There are special things that need to be done switching to a 102mm TB.If you do not do them they will drive like crap.

Wish I had an engine dyno up here
