Mods are:

Boxed AFR 205's milled to 62cc, Runners not massaged

224/228/114 Cam (Degreed)

Ported Fast 92/92

Ported stock MAF, Center Piece cutout

SLP Air Lid, K/N Air filter

Stock rear end, 6 speed Transmission

Steel Flywheel Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch

Tuned with hp tuners set timing @ think 26-27 degrees
numbers looked good to me,especially with the small cam and catted headers..IMO i wouldn't change the cam,not worth the expense just to get an extra 15-20 or so HP,plus lose some of your low end(unless your racing and need every tenth you can get)..like was said, looks like you were still climbing when the run was cut off..if your going to change anything,i would go to a high quality 1-7/8 header..
congrats

So you are saying to go to a bigger header, what is the diffrence between what I have now 1 3/4 and 1 7/8 ?

it probably wouldn't make a huge difference, but will probably gain you a few HP without losing anything down low..pacesetters aren't a bad header, but IMO aren't the best choice out there, but bang for the buck they aren't bad at all..
actually i would be pretty damn happy with those #s if i were you..
all i'm saying is don't go chasing a dyno number..you have a strong runner there..don't listen to all the internet racers on here..

the numbers might not be huge, but that combo is pretty stout and proven. I bet at the track it will run faster than you think.

Just FYI, I make very similar numbers and I gained 8 rwhp and 12 rwtq by removing my high-flow cats and putting in off road pipes if you're looking for a minor, but easy gain.

Really, wow that would put me at 435rwhp and 410 rwtq SAE

With an EWP and 85mm MAF I would be at 440 rwhp and 412 rwtq

Yeah, I went from 424/374 to 432/386 by removing the cats. With my Borla cutout closed I'm at 422/372 (without the cats).

I'm in the same boat looking for that little extra wherever I can. I'm hoping that a FAST intake and bigger cam will get me into the 450+ range with the cutout open.

I have the same cam and heads. One thing I noticed on your dyno is the pull stopped early. That cam peaks right around 6,600 RPM so if you are looking for a peak number you just need to pull a little further out. I think you may be missing 10 hp or so just from the early stop on the dyno. Also, did you use GM or Cometic gaskets? There were a few hp there as well. You are correct though, the car is a beast with this setup and as soon as I can see dry land again I can finally get my car out.

good solid numbers. I was expecting a little more espcially considering the AFR heads. But car will still be a load of fun to drive.

I am using the gm gaskets, but also have a catted y that 4 yrs old from texas speed, wandering if it gets clogged.

I think your tune needs some work.

Torque peak, I would say sharply @ 4800 rpm. When you look before & after that number there are noticeable valleys. As pointed out many times HP is a calculation from Torque & RPM. With Torque dipping although not huge it is going show in the number's.

My guess is the AFR & timing can use tweaking in those areas.

I have the same cylinder heads with 30* of timing, my AFR was targeted @ 12.6.

Are you tuning yourself?

I love my setup and would not change my cam. I think you could gain a solid 15-20 rwhp by removing the catts and getting FM merge in you Y-pipe. Take a look at Pat G recipe for 500rwhp. If you just did a cam swap only I would think you might gain a little up top but would not be worth the power lost down low. Unless you improve you exhaust setup (like mentioned above). I think my setup has another 5-10 rwhp in it if I was to get some better headers instead of the old SLP Tuned Length. I just find it hard to justify spending another $1200+ for 5-10 rwhp. Good luck and let us know your results.

Cats do get clogged. The richer you run, the faster they die.
