Considering the mail order tune, stock maf and mustang dyno, those are great numbers.

ya the car has been down for a year. last summer the old ls1 quit on me right around this time. so i saved some money and landed the l92 short block from a buddy that worked at a gm dealer i think it was out of a 08 denali that had dropped a intake valve and messed up the piston so i just got a factory replacement piston and basically took everything off the ls1 and swapped if over to the l92 minus the cam. i finished the swap the night before the chevy fest event up in new england dragway. ran a bunch of shitty 12.3's but at 119 120ish horrible 60 foots. went up again a month later did an 11.8 at almost 123 (car weighs just over 3700 pounds) and i went around again for my 4th run and the stock torque arm bent causing the driveshaft to blow up into a million pieces. so i got a umi ta and pst 3.5" drive shaft in this winter but havent been up yet. im prob gona bring it to slowhawk to get tuned before i do and im getting some 15 wheels with bias ply tires im sick of 1.8 60's.

as far as the maf do they really hold the power gains back...if its that big of a deal ill prob have to get one. any guess on wat a bigger maf and real tune mite get me?

im gona try to get the graph up to its a good looking curve. ps this was an all audi dyno day my bro has an 04 s4 and they needed a spot filled so it was funny seeing these kids reactions

Strong power. The stock MAF can become a restriction in some of the more stout heads/cam combos. It would help if you could log your MAP kPA and see if your motor is pulling much of a vacuum at WOT. Any kind of vacuum at WOT indicates intake restriction of some sort. Could be the manifold or TB, but more likely it's in front of the TB. Replace the MAF with a 3.5" straight pipe and see if your power increases. Of course, you'll need to be speed density tuned for that. Again, strong power.

options for MAF:

100MM Lingerfelter - Fast Toys Performance
103.5MM PowrMaf - Tick Performance
100MM Texas Speed & Performance
85MM SLP
SD Tune and ditch the MAF
I also believe one of two of the newer GMC trucks come with an 85mm maf you could find a cheap used one.

what do you mean what about the heads? on tsps site they say i think 312cfm on the intake at 600 ivew never had them bench flowed. i know they may be a small head for the application but i built it out of all the parts off my old ls1 plus patricks cam spec. im sure a tfs or prc aftermarket casted head would make more power but i dont wana spend the money right now. i have no interest in putting l92 heads on it either

Flow number doesn't mean everything guys, I really wish there was a way to show how a head performs to people who don't understand how an engine works.

any time but like paint it black said the flow numbers are def not everything. im sure theres threads in here that have been beaten to death over this same subject.
i like these 5.3 heads for the money they do well. im just wondering what a nice set of prc 227 or tfs 225 would do for stock bttom end l92

i should have a new graph with a ftp 104mm lid tsp 100 maf and a slowhawk tune in the upcoming month just waiting for the parts to come in.
