Smoothing on Dyno Sheet?

Default Smoothing on Dyno Sheet?

What does the Smoothing on the Dyno Sheet Mean? I ve notice must dyno sheet have smoothing 5; I was smoothing 0 on my dyno sheet what is the difference.

smoothing smooths it out... lol

without smoothing the lines can have a bunch of spikes in them and can give false peak numbers and stuff...

Generally, the industry's accepted standard is SAE with smoothing 5.
