Default Stock Bottom End LS1 GTO

I recently decide to put in a Nitrous Specific Cam and make some changes to get the full hit from my nitrous. I had reached a bottleneck with the -4 and the small Brand X solenoid with a 90* so I put in a -6, Nitrous Outlets large Nitrous Solenoid and a 45* fitting.

The results were pretty amazing.

Before 436rwhp 395tq on 227/230 cam and on 175 shot we were only netting about 140 or so.

With Nitrous Cam 464rwhp and 411tq....remove bottle neck and 200 shot netted 236! So on a Stock Bottom LS1 we are pushing 700rwhp 631tq on a 200 pill.

Sweet video and great numbers! I bet you shock a lot of the big boys with your setup. You ever play with the car on the street or just at the track? I could just imagine the look on a h/c bolt on zo6 when your nitrous hits and you start walking on him. 700 rwhp is a lot of power, best of luck keeping her together.

What oil are you running ? Do you change it a lot more often considering the extreme power this motor experiences on a 200 shot ?

Damn impressive man !!

I run Mobil 1 5w30 or 0 sometimes. I usually change oil and plugs about once a month if I am going to the track. If I am not spraying much then I will go about 3000 miles. Never more than 3 months before changes. Not out of necessity just because I like to keep it clean. I am sure the oil companies love me and most cars could use my oil when I pull it out.

Yeah Betty has shocked quite a few people. Bikes are the most fun I had my cutouts open this weekend and the nitrous cam was loping seriously hard. Had a bike pull up to me at the meet area and ask me to run for some money. I said nah I dont run for money. He said how about 100. Ok Now I must have been feeling because after I walked him I told him he could keep his money.

Damn, that's a badass car! Excellent gains with the new mods. Is there any chance on seeing the new motor graph overlayed with the the old motor graph and the same for the nitrous graphs?

I could probably get that done. Just a matter of him pulling up the files. I will send him a text to see how busy he is.

Lmao. I told Shelby that I would run him anytime at the track. I am not going to jail or risking my life or anyone elses spraying a 200 shot on the street!

Very strong set up you have! Can you share the specs of the new cam? It would interesting to see how the nitrous specific cam picked up 28rwhp NA if I'm reading that right.

Wow, those NA numbers are also very impressive through a stalled A4. Hope that bottom end holds together for you! When are you getting new track numbers? Weight reduction?

basic specs are 235/243 .62x lift on 113+? old cam was 227/230 .64x/? 114+5
That is to my recolection. Both are proprietary cams from different shops and I only saw the cam card once.

I am hoping to make it to the track this weekend. Trying to find a place to run..Most Saturday nights are bracket races and even the 1/4 mile tracks are doing 1/8 bracket.

I have pulled close to 200lbs out since the last 10.24.

V-brace, Strut Bar, Sway Bar, Front Crash Bar, Front Passenger Seat, Rear Seats, 3/8 tank vs full tank.

So I am going to have to call cause obviously you'll run on the street cause your contradicting yourself saying you ran on the street against a bike but then you wont spray on the street? . And I know your not saying you walked a bike on the motor......

Funny you say that but yet you raced and sprayed me on the street when my car was nearly stock a week after I bought it. Then u also say once I got my "kenne bell" you'd run me again on the street and the track. However it's your car and u can run it wherever you like. Of course we both know the outcome of you and me in a street just as I know I can't beat you at the track or that I shouldn't be able to anyway. As soon as I get my clutch I will run u at the track just as we agreed on before. Don't worry if we do race on street again I won't post it on here lol....

I didnt spray the bike. I just put in my new 15lb bottle and nano and have not filled it up yet. call Allen and ask him. Yes I beat the bike on motor. It was a 600 or 650. Maybe the rider sucked for all I know. My car runs mid to low 11s off the bottle. What does yours do?

Spraying a 75 shot on the street is different then spraying a 200 shot. And on that run we had I told you that there was 1-2lb in the bottle and that with as much fuel as was being dumped in it didnt help if not hurt.

Shelby you can post up our races where ever you want. I thought we had this conversation by texts that at our power level racing on the street is a bad idea. Jail time or worse Death if something goes wrong. At least at the track it is a controlled enviroment.
