Just got mine back yesterday and made 415rwhp and 375rwtq with PRC heads, tr224 and mac heads. How much torque did yours put down and at what rpm?

Mine made 411 / 387 with unported 243's (milled .020" and 5 angle valve job by me) with a BRE 224 cam and LS6 intake. I added an underdrive and ported a fast 85 now make 444 / 414. Link in sig for info.

Awesome Results! Maybe I should add a Fast Intake to my setup?

Yea, that's what I was figuring mine would make for torque but I guess since it was a DYNOmite dyno instead of a dynojet, it's 5-7% lower.

An underdrive pulley is worth about 8hp and a tenth at the track. The ls6 manifold is not really giving up anything over a fast until 440-450rwhp, the only restriction would be the throttle body if you don't already have a 85mm or ported one already.

Just wondering. I know this is probably more suitable so
ewhere else but all you guys are already in here. With my mods and a 224/224 cam what kind of power could/should I be looking at?

Longtube hooker headers, 8mm sparkplug wires and new plugs, slp air lid, K&N filter, smooth bellow, no cats, 3" ORY, 3" magnaflow catback. The car has a tune for the headers but of course it'll need a tune for the cam. I plan on keeping stock heads and for now stock intake and throttle body.

Just wondering what I could get with that cam as it's more streetable for what I'm wanting than a 228/230 cam.

For an A4 I would get a converter and cam at the same time, otherwise the drivability is going to suffer for a 224 cam and up, I would get something around that custom spec'd 228/230 you are considering if I had to do it again. It shouldn't give up anything on the bottom end over a tr224/tsp224. There's a lot of factors to consider but I would guess around 375rwhp.

What size converter do you recommend for this type of a cam?

I gained 17rwhp from 387rwhp to 404 with a ported FAST 92mm. From 4500rpm + though.

FAST will outperform the LS6 anytime, the more hp you have the better it performs thats true. It depends if you wanna put 1500$ in the intake setup..

My old T/A had a 224 with just bolt'ons, LS6 intake, and 241 heads and put down 392/370 with a 4.10 gear. Made 550/620 with a 175 shot. That cam loves nitrous.
