Disappointing #'s for a 408, what should i be making?

You have good compression and a decent set of headers. Heads are expensive and you can reach your goal with the heads you have now. Although a 4" stroke needs HEAD (like a 240-250cc intake port size).
Cons on your setup are:
Cam
Stock maf
Stock tb
Ls6 intake
Exhaust (maybe)?????
What is your entire exhaust setup? Are you running through cats, cut out or full exhaust? If running through full exhaust what brand do you have?
If you change the air coming into the motor and dont change the air getting out you will run into the same problem. If it was my motor i would run a SD tune and get rid of the maf. I would move to the fast 102 and matching throttle body. Change your cam. Depending on what you say for an exhaust you may need to look there also.

My 403 with 225cc tfs tea heads at 11.7 made 516/488
I had a texas giant in there, I swapped it for a EPS 240/260..
also have 90mm tb and 102 lsxr, with SD tune.
Havent gone back to the dyno since the old cam.. looking for 540 with the new cam...

That exhaust duration is on the small side for a 350ci engine, also get a Fast 102 and throttle body. You need a cam at least as big as a g5x3 (238/242, .600+ lift), maybe even a 242/244 cam and some 42lb injectors.

I have that cam and the 42s. I am running a ported FAST 92/NW TB by Vengeance. My 408 is making 500/472 through an auto/moser 12 bolt. As said cam is number 1, you could swap intake/TB and probably make some gain but probably not gonna make 500 with that cam...cutout could probably gain a little too. Look forward to some new numbers from you. I am not sure a new tune is going to do much for you. Can we see your graph?

Your injectors are fine, save your money and get the right cam. I have a 408 tfs 215s and 36 lbs injectors, ported 92 with the texas giant cam making 505hp and 478rwtq. tuned by texas speed.

I am running kooks 1 7/8 headers with ory and a corsa cat back.

M6 or Auto? Why go with barely enough and not leave room to grow. Admittedly, he will probably be OK with the 36# in the short term but if he ever wants more (500 crank HP is over 70% duty cycle on 36#)...500 rwhp is probably pretty close to max on those. Especially if you try to keep your duty cycle 80% or less, just my $0.02

Wow, that cam is killing you!! I would talk to all the cam vendors mentioned, and see what they recommend. Then go with whoever your most comfortable with. They all know their stuff, so i dont think there is a wrong place to go.
If it were me, id go:
42# Injectors
Fast 102 w/Matching TB
100mm MAF (Or speed density)
FTP 104mm Lid
Custom grind Cam
Dyno tune from experienced Tuner

Can your fuel pump support that power....??? Is your AFR good??? I told Geoff at EPS I wanted consistent 10's out of the 403 going in my car. The cam he speced cam doctored out at 239/251 .600/.612 IRRC. I guess around 500rwhp +/- on TFS massaged as cast 220's and a ported 90/90, 42# fuel injectors (3 bar), 100mm LPE maf and 100mm FT lid on a A4 car.. I may be a little optimistic but track times are what really matter....

I was a little disappointed with the numbers i was putting down at the dyno. I put down 441/438. I was looking for around 500 to the wheels. Here is my mods list:

I have a racetronix fuel pump in the car so that shouldn't be an issue. AFR seem to be rich that's why I'm going to get another tune, along with it throwing o2 codes when i just replaced the o2s, and a miss fire code. The first tune was on a Dyno jet this next one which i will be getting on tues is a mustang dyno. I will be going to the track soon after this next tune and dyno. The car is an M6 and a strange s60 outback. I will try and post the Dyno jet graph soon.
