Does this sound about right for a 408?
the 1 7/8 headers and ported 90/90 isn't holding it back much at all imo. i'd try a different dyno and hit the track also .maybe start shifting around 6600 or so and raise/lower it for best results. just my uneducated $.02 though.

Well, I can tell you this is BS!!! My 402, with a 90/90 set-up was still making close to 430@ 7200 RPM. I made 461 through an A-4, 3600 Yank, M-9. LS6 2.5 heads, 1 3/4 LT's and a Catted Y. My first pass on this set-up was an 11.17@ 121mph... Pretty sure we will get her in the 10's as soon as we get the Trans fixed.. 3rd gear clutches slipping. I would not be disapointed with your #'s at all.
