Default 926hp on an engine dyno NA

we built an engine for a customer of ours that we took to texas to engine dyno.

the combination is pretty i shouldnt say mild but for the most part just normal aftermarket parts which it consists of.

440ci LSX block
Callies 4" stroke Compstar crank
Callies 6.125 Compstar rods
Diamond Custom Pistons
Stef's/ Jones Racing External WetSump System.
Gmpp Front Mount Distributor Setup
We Used Performance Induction Specialties LS7 Heads out of the box that flow 395cfm, we used xceldyne titanium valves and Pac Springs
Comp Cams Custom solid roller Grind Camshaft 28x/30x @.050 .9xx/.9xx lift on a 116lsa
Morel .904 Tie Bar Lifters Specially Spec'd by HKE
Smith Brothers 7/16 pushrods
Jesel Shaft Sysetem
Beck Sheetmetal Intake Manifold Setup for one ProSystems 1300 Dominator

it made 926fwhp @ 8100rpm and 657fwtq at 6300rpm

we are extremely pleased with how the engine performed.

very nice build making great power for the ci...anything over 2hp/ci is really nice...

its 14.5:1 compression nothing really crazy.

yea that is my car on the front of gmhtp.

we should have the new engine ready for this years lsx shootout.

should be alot of fun.

what size headers and exhaust ?

It's going in a 02' SS. It should be nasty....for a full blown race car!!
IIRC he's running 2' headers.

correction he is running 2" stepped to 2 1/8" headders to a 4" collector those
dyno numbers are with just a set of dyno headders that i believe where 1 7/8

the springs are a special pac spring that we picked to work with these lobes.

it has 425 seat pressure and 1150lbs open. the cam has quite aggressive lobes

we are looking for times around the 5.6's at like 123 or quarter mile times of 8.7 at 154-156
